I’m reading this book ‘the call of the weird’ by Louis Theroux and I want to share the amazing discovery he made while visiting a UFO congress. Apparently lizards are taking over the planet. A David Icke (who used to be a goalkeeper in a Britisch soccerteam but reinvented himself as a New Age Prophet) is the guru of this movement. I’ll quote the funny part in the book. Louis Theroux is sitting around a table with ufo believers (you’ll find them anywhere around the planet … trust me):
‘Doesn’t he (David Icke) believe there are twelve-foot lizard people running the planet?’ I (David Theroux) asked.
‘He believes the reptilian people have an agenda here, that’s correct,’ said Darell.
‘But Lizards?’
‘Reptilians’, Darrell said.
‘We’re a prison planet,’ said Jeanne, a grizzled-looking teacher from Colorado. ‘Have you read his books? You should! He exposes the Queen of England. She’s a reptile.’

When I come to think of it … joris our keyboard player sometimes gets this weird look in his eyes…
