So we played Schlachthof in Wiesbaden and it was a good night. People were friendly and the Schlachthof crew treated us with lot’s of good things. Maybe the free bottle of gin was a bit too much though… I got a bit sick on the way back. Anyway if you ever happen to pass by Wiesbanden you should go to Schlachthof. It’s run by 15 enthousiastic people who kinda do this a s a Kolektif. They don’t get government funding but they do get all the good bands (we just missed Sonic Youth). The promotor for the night was Dennis. He told me he drove all the way to Brussels once to see Shellac at the AB. I think that qualifies him as a genuine lover for music. We like the kind And he was also the super dj for the night.
Ok we’re going to Amsterdam tomorrow and later on we will be heading to Leipzig, Erlangen, Hamburg und Berlin.

Last thursday (8 nov 07) we played at ‘Den Hemel‘ (Heaven) in Zichem.
I think this was the 5th or 6th tilme I played there. Theo has a pub and a small venue on the second floor. It’s a small place but it’s nice and good bands played there. I remember driving to Heaven for The Notwist and American Analog Set . Actually I didn’t met Kenny from aas the night they played in Den Hemel but later on we did a tour with aas as their support act and Kenny still remembered Heaven.
Anyway I just wanted to say that I think Theo is one of those guys who have a heart for music and that I need to play in Den Hemel at least every two years.
