I made a list of my favorite chocolate pastes.
the list:
1 Meli chocolate paste > It’s very sweet and I guess they also use honey but boy it’s delicious on a light brown slice of bread.
2 ‘t Boerinneke > It looks and even feels like fake chocolate but on a slice of plain white bread… you’d probably kill for it!
3 nutella > A classic and it’s nice on white and brown bread.
4 bio paste from the chain store colruyt > Hey it tastes good and you feel like contributing to a better world // we buy this one most of the time (it’s cheaper too).
5 quatta > This one was my favorite when I was a little boy. Somehow I have magic memories about this chocolate paste but right now these magic feelings don’t come back so I
stopped bying it, I don’t want to spoil the sweet memories.
6 Cote D’or > Some say this is ‘the’ brand but I dunno too much real chocolate? It’s for the rich and famous!

this song heartbreaker from metronomy is fighting with Jay Reatard (see previous post) for a spot in my never ending brain repeat list
if only I could turn my brain into a terra hard disk… some sort of an upgrade with an usb port so I can dj out of my head… I guess that should not be so hard to do? imagine if I could have it wireless > djing and dancing all in real time and anonymous….
maybe I should ask Douglas Coupland for advise he knows about ‘bits’…

Hi all
Back from the camper trip, we survived, we are happy.

I took the swimmingpool picture in Bourgogne (France). I was fascinated by the building: the colours and sixties style > a real beauty. The buidling made me remember that my friend Croki and I wanted to make a sort of Michelin guide of swimming pools (yes we were younger and cuter). We never really wrote the book cause we ended up going to the same swimmingpool in Antwerp. (more…)
