I like München.
It’s the fourth time that I play München. The first time was with orange black (my first band) supporting spoon, with styrofoam (watch out for his new album!!!!), with the go find supporting the american analog set and today with the album leaf.
It’s a bit sad that we have to step out of the tour for a week cause the album leaf are top companions and it’s really nice… but hey that’s the way things go. We’ll be back on track in Paris!
Also keep an eye on our myspace cause we will be adding more dates (Italy, Germany, Turkey (yes!!!), Denmark…)

where the hell is bad bonn

It’s repetition but not as we know it! Touring is driving, loading, soundchecking, eating, drinking, playing, loading, driving, sleeping, driving, loading…. sometimes you do some import export stuff… it’s fun!!!!!! Really it’s like the boyscout thing (I guess cause I’ve never been a member)! Also you get to meet nice people and you play clubs with a lot of music history. Yesterday for example we played at Bad Bonn. A very nice club out in the woods of Dudingen (hence the where the hell is bad Bonn banner on top of the club?). They have an annual festival whith frequent visits from Sonic Youth. Apparently sonic youth ask Daniel the promoter to set up some kind of collaboration so they can come over again and again. I understand why: it’s a very cool and friendly club, a festival with a view on a lake…. I can only hope Daniel remembers us!

Today we play Palace in St Gallan. An old cinema turned into a very nice club. It looks like it’s going to be a very nice evening.

yes sometimes the life of a support band can be hard.
yesterday at Luzern we had to start in an empty (good looking and big) venue
we started really good!
fortunately people came in while we played our first song….
also from now on we have the mountains (remember our artwork for everybody knows) screened behind us… thank you album leaf for helping us out!!!!!

We are in Switzerland and that’s really nice. One thing though… they are not a member of of the European Community and so when you cross the Swiss border you need to do lot’s of old school paperwork. Coming from Milan you first export your intsruments (Italian customs) and then you import them in Switzerland (Swiss customs). You also let them know you have merchandise, you deposit money… it’s a hastle but it’s also charming. Something we should keep (remember) even if Switzerland joins the European Community. Just to remember the good old custom days

And now the music: we played our first show in Milan and it was fun! The Album Leaf guys are super troopers so this might turn out to be a very nice tour!!!!!!
